alright so let me start out by saying ive never used flash before and trying to design in here kind of sucks especially knowing what im capable of in photoshop. with that said lets talk about this project. i like the primitive shapes for the reason of adjustments. i dont see why every mode doesnt allow this but hey at least 1 does. now with the pen tool it was cool for drawing the ufo. i drew the top half then copied it and use the free transform to rotate it and line it up to make the bottom half. i also used the pen tool and bezier curves to create the flag in my pic. i used the rotate and skew on the font thats on the flag. i used the gradient on the supposed to be light bar on the ufo. i used #333333,#FFFF00,#999999... which are the hex codes for dark grey,light grey,and yellow. i used the brush tool for the nose and mouth. overall i feel like this is gonna be a bit of a challenge until i can figure out how to use these tools a bit better but im definitely looking forward to figuring this flash out.
